Autobedrijf van Empel is a family business focused on customer satisfaction. Piet started the car company in 1975. Anita and her brother joined the company in the 1990s. Last year, I also became co-owner of Autobedrijf van Empel. We have grown from a universal garage to a Citroën Authorised Repairer. Personal contact with the customer is very important to us, but we also realise that an online presence is indispensable these days. That is why we entered into a partnership with Autosociaal in 2016.
To keep up with the times, we purchased a website and an app from Autosociaal. We are very positive about this. Autosociaal takes care of everything for us, so that we can focus on what matters most: our customers and their cars. The website is clear, well-organised and practical. It is designed entirely according to our wishes and identity. The app is also a great addition to our car company. We have noticed that users of our app are enthusiastic about all the possibilities it offers. These include scheduling a workshop appointment or sending a chat message to ask a question. The edlink administrator app is also a nice addition that we use a lot.

We also use email marketing at Autosociaal. This helps us optimise customer relationship management. For example, we remind our customers when their MOT is about to expire and send them birthday greetings. It also ensures that we get in touch with them several times a year from the car company. These moments of contact are important for maintaining a good customer relationship. Compared to large dealers, I think we have much more personal contact with our customers. We get to grips with the customer’s problem and no is not an option. Customers are not just a number to us. Autosociaal also clearly reflects this in our online identity.

We are very satisfied with our collaboration with Autosociaal. They are a dynamic team who are always available to assist us via the helpdesk and think along with us. In addition, they continue to grow and develop, as is currently evident with the updated app. I anticipate that this will have a very positive impact.
