The history of Heersmink Car Company dates back to 1949, when Frits Heersmink started his car company on Molenweg in Hierden. Since then, a lot has changed, not only in terms of car sales and the workshop, but also in the area of car rental. In 2010, Autobedrijf Heersmink responded to the growing demand for temporary transport by becoming the first company in the Netherlands to open an Autohopper branch. There are now more than 130 branches throughout the country.
