As Autosocial, we have ISO standardized security. ISO27001:2013 is the international standard for information security. The standard ensures that information is handled in such a way through unambiguous policies. This allows us to ensure that the reliability, availability and integrity of this information is guaranteed at all times. In addition to this security, we ensure a properly secured network in other ways.
Encrypted data and two-factor authentication
All data stored at Autosociaal is encrypted. This means that nothing can be done with the data if it is stolen. The data then becomes unreadable.
To reduce a possible chance of breaking into our system, Autosocial uses two-factor authentication. This creates a more secure way of accessing files. What is two-factor authentication? It means that when logging into files, we use a second means of identification in addition to a password.
What can you do yourself to keep your digital environment safe?
You can do your own part to ensure the security of your data, so we’ve put together a few tips for you:
- Get a good virus scanner.
- Don’t just open links from emails you don’t know.
- Change your passwords regularly.
- Provide a password when logging into your computer.
- Do not store files containing personal data without a password.
