As a Citroën dealer, we had been dissatisfied with our website for some time. To avoid confusing customers, we had always opted to use a single website. However, the Citroën website lagged so far behind in terms of development and user-friendliness that we had no choice but to switch to a more modern system. Autosociaal stood out in this regard thanks to their knowledge of the automotive industry and technical expertise. Customers visit our website to make an appointment or view a used car. They therefore need to be able to find what they are looking for quickly. Our new site makes this possible. What’s more, visitors can now see at a glance what we can do for them.

The website has essentially become our company’s showroom. Our online identity must reflect the experience customers have at our location. This has to be perfect down to the last detail. This has been a success, and we’re hearing positive feedback from our loyal customers. Personally, I think it’s a positive development that a large part of the sales process now takes place online. This allows us to communicate optimally with potential buyers throughout the Netherlands, expanding our sales area.
People who subsequently visit the showroom in person are now better informed and interested in a specific car. This allows us to get straight to the details and gives us more opportunity to provide tailored advice. The website has also led to more app downloads, which we recently started. We are not yet promoting this very much, but we will do so soon by launching an advertising campaign on our social media channels and local radio stations. The app is intended to strengthen our relationship with our customers and shorten the lines of communication between us and the customer.
We want to do this by taking targeted actions, such as reminding people to have a winter check carried out before they go on a winter sports holiday. We also want to send customers a photo when something is broken and needs to be replaced. Visual material helps to make it clearer to people exactly what is wrong. In addition, we explain that we have an app every time someone visits our workshop or buys a car. We then help people to download it.
We ended up at Autosociaal because we were dissatisfied with our website at the time. During that period, we started looking around and spoke to many different providers. What appealed to us about Autosociaal was that (in addition to their specialisation in the automotive industry) they use standard solutions, but that the communication with the customer is very personal and unique to each car company. This allows us to maintain our own identity, and our app and website continue to evolve because they are connected to Autosociaal’s standard system.
